NT Orders

The National Code of Conduct PDF (738.9 KB) will protect the public by setting minimum standards of conduct and practice for all unregistered health care workers. If a practitioner breaches the National Code and their continued practice presents a serious risk to public health and safety, the Commissioner will have the power to place conditions on the person’s practice or prohibit them from practising. The duration of the order may be for a defined period of time or it may be permanent.

Legislation to implement the National Code of Conduct has not yet commenced in the Northern Territory. More information about the Code regime can be found here PDF (738.9 KB).
