Health and Community Services Complaints Acting Commissioner –
RUTH BRISBANE

The current Acting Commissioner is Ruth Brisbane, who brings more than 20 years of management experience in health and disability.

Acting Commissioner Brisbane holds degrees in law and social work, and has served as Deputy Commissioner, Health and Community Services Complaints Commission for the past five years. She has extensive experience in complaints handling including the conduct of investigations, management of organisational risk and quality improvement in the disability and public health sectors.
